The history of DBF is the story of two families of craftsmen with a passion for elegant and unique furnishings and of their desire to spread this passion throughout the world. Claudio Dal Bello and Mosè Florian founded the society in March 1979 as a small artisan workshop in Cantù, Brianza, an area famous for its long tradition of artisan produced furniture. After a few years working as a small workshop specialized in the production of “artistic” furnishings for other companies, DBF decided that the time had come to start up their own society which would dedicate their activity to the creation of unique classical pieces characterized by high-quality workmanship and imagination; this harmonious combination gave rise to a style which still today shows perfection in every piece of furniture destined to adorn some of the world's most beautiful homes. Over the early years, the “workshop”  underwent continual growth and in 1982 it  moved to the premises where it can be found today, an area of   4.000 sq.m with about forty collaborators, still offering all the experience of “classical” furniture. Today it is a structure which designs and produces exclusive furniture able to satisfy the requirements of today's clientele, a clientele which is increasingly attentive and demanding. Today DBF proposes and re-interprets some of the most fascinating styles from the past, designing and producing personalized furnishing ranging from kitchens to woodwork, from furniture for both the night and day areas to fitted wardrobes and accessories, from living rooms to interior doors. They are pieces of furniture created by DBF's master cabinet-makers who, with their manual and artistic ability, are the true expression of “Made in Italy”; the entire productive cycle is carried out within the company and this assures careful controls throughout all the phases of production, so guaranteeing a continual high-quality. In 2016 at the International Furniture Fair in Milan, the society received recognition for their thirty uninterrupted years of participation in the fair. DBF is also present in the exhibitions in this sector abroad, including the fairs in Moscow and Shanghai.
